Vintage 1980s Frost Cutlery Tak Fukuta Seki Japan Stag Fixed Blade Dagger Knife

Description
This is a rare Frost dagger knife made by Tak Fukuta circa 1980s in Seki, Japan. The overall length is 6 1/8" and the blade is 3 1/8" long surgical stainless. The handle is Stag and nickel silver guard. Comes with leather sheath, marked "Japan". Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This knife is one of these rare finds.
