Description
This is a vintage Japanese crafted pocket knife made in Seki, Japan by Yasuo Imai, circa 1950s. It measures 3.12" long closed and features a synthetic handle with a geisha design and stainless steel blades. Blades don't close properly. The small blade is bent to the wrong side so the large blade can close on it if not helped into place. Also when the large blade is closed and you close the small on it closes on the wrong side of the large one. The back side of the loop is not attached to the handle. Yasuo was the father to one of Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen, Seizo Imai. After Seizo's passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of these rare finds.
