Seizo Imai began making knives at 17 when he joined his father-in-law's knife factory in Seki, Japan. Taking over at 27, he built a new factory, producing "Parker-Imai" brand knives for Parker Cutlery in Chattanooga, TN for 20 years. Afterwards, and until his passing in 2014, he spent 21 years crafting the highest quality knives. His specialty was replica knives, and this Loveless Style knife is truly stunning example of his work. This knife features a VG-10 core damascus blade and burlwood handle (please note that this knife has a crack in the handle) with tapered tang. The blade has Seizo Imai's signature etched on the front side.
