Description
This is a vintage axe made by Gränsfors Bruks in Sweden. Based on the branding on the axe head this resembles a mid 20th Century design and matches their model large splitting axe no. 442. The axe is also marked RA for maker Rune Anderson. Handle is made of Hickory wood, and head is forged steel. Approx 5 pounds total. This is a wonderfully made axe by expert craftsmen with materials that last a lifetime!
