This axe was made by Gränsfors Burk in Sweden several years ago. The axe head is marked MM for the maker, Mattsson Mattias. The handle is made of Hickory wood, and head is solid steel, comes with leather sheath. Approximate weight is 1.3 pounds total. This is a wonderfully made axe by expert craftsmen with materials that last a lifetime!
