This excellent quality dog tag knife made in Seki, Japan by G. Sakai. It measures a slim 0.165" thick and is 2.125" long closed. It features an all stainless steel construction with a knife blade and screwdriver/bottle opener blade. It was only marked "Japan" on the flat area of one handle side to allow other companies to put their own branding on it if desired and to cover the handle with a custom handle scale. The lanyard hole in the handle is 1/4" diameter to allow paracord or chain through it.

G. Sakai has produced quality knives for many brands over the decades, including Al Mar, SOG, and Spyderco. For several years it made knives for Gerber, even changing its name to "Gerber Sakai" which was subsequently shortened to G. Sakai. The company now produces Spyderco's Japanese made knives which are known for their exceptional quality.
