Description
The Ciso MACV-SOG commemorative was produced in Seki, Japan by Hattori for Boker of Germany circa 2000. Because it was an exclusive production it did not have the Boker logo on it. This rare knife is serial number 244 of only 300 made and has the signature of Conrad Ben Baker etched on the left side of the blade. The Boker version is unique because the top grind line ends closer to the ricasso, rather than the second spine peak. This was how the original standard issue MACV-CISO SOG knife was made. All other Hattori SOG knives follow the grind line of the MACV-CISO SOG Commemorative editions. Most of these were sold in Germany and only a few made it to the US.
