This is a 1996 Buck 188 fixed blade survival knife. Buck only made an estimated 1,394 of this version in 1996. They discontinued the 188 the following year and this year is the last year featuring all Buck parts since in 1997 Buck began using up all parts, using both Buck and Phrobis marked parts. Excellent condition, wear from going in and out of sheath. Edge appears original, or perhaps lightly polished once. Wire cutter looks polished and one screw looks like it was replaced. Two notches in handle and sheath. Overall in excellent condition.
